Sampling

Got an opportunity to work with Shruti (Head Designer) Harisumita & Akshita (Junior designers) on designing and producing jackets and dresses for the Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Throughout this process, I gained valuable insights into several key aspects of fashion design and production. Specifically, I learned about the importance of precise placement and alignment in garment construction, how to effectively find and utilize garment centers for balanced design, and a variety of advanced techniques used in adda, such as intricate embroidery and embellishment methods. This experience significantly enhanced my understanding of the detailed and creative elements involved in highend fashion design.

Internship Document
During my internship, I immersed myself in the world of handmade craftsmanship, aligning with Pero’s ethos of intricate, artisanal design. My love for handmade creations shone through as I excelled in crafting unique & creative design, including a heart-shaped document design - sketched and handed to a carpenter for precise cutting on wood & bind with crochet tassels. This hands-on experience deepened my passion for material exploration and traditional techniques, showcasing my dedication to creating one-of-a-kind, handcrafted pieces that blend creativity with skilled artistry and at last all made with love.
